Altes Stadtbild, Zitadelle (16. Jahrhundert), Kirche (17. Jahrhundert), Häuser des 18. Jahrhunderts; Fischerkapelle (ausgemalt von J. Cocteau).
 
 2) Villefranche-de-Rouergue [-də 'ru̯ɛrg], Stadt im Département Aveyron, Frankreich, rechts des Aveyron, 12 300 Einwohner; archäologisches und volkskundliches Museum; Gerberei, Bekleidungs- und Konservenindustrie.
 
 
Kirche Notre-Dame (14.-16. Jahrhundert), Kartäuserkloster aus dem 15. Jahrhundert (heute Hospital).
 
 
Gegründet um 1252.
 
 3) Villefranche-sur-Saône [-syr'soːn], Stadt im Département Rhône, Frankreich, an der Saône, 29 500 Einwohner; Hauptort der Monts du Beaujolais und Weinhandelszentrum; Geräte- und Landmaschinenbau, Herstellung von Kühlanlagen und Verpackungsmaterial, pharmazeutische und Textilindustrie, Bleihütte.
